El Salvaje – New harvest, new bean
Created from a blend of Typica and Bourbon varieties, this new version of El Salvaje comes from the heights of Las Trojas, in the heart of Henri Pittier National Park in Aragua, Venezuela. A tribute to the wilderness and to those who work patiently with it.

A cup that seduces with its balance and depth. Its aromatic profile reveals notes of almond, honey, and a delicate touch of blueberry. Roasted using the omniroast method, it flourishes equally well in espresso and filter coffee, offering a taste experience that is smooth, precise, and vibrant.
Las Trojas, a land of resilience and authenticity
In Venezuela's oldest national park, Henri Pittier Park, north of Maracay, nature creates a backdrop of mist, forest, and birdsong.
At the heart of this sanctuary, various national and international initiatives are working to protect flora and fauna that are unique in the world, and at the center of this dynamic is the Asociación Las Trojas, a community of coffee producers who are the heirs of those who have always lived in these mountains.
Spread across a few remote valleys, accessible only on foot after more than two hours of walking, these producers grow their coffee at the pace of the forest.
A microclimate plunges the valleys into an almost eternal mist and creates optimal conditions: the coffee grows among the trees, under a canopy that shelters more than 500 species of birds and envelops the cherries in constant coolness.
Between 1,350m and 1,750m above sea level, the Typica and Bourbon varieties are harvested by hand and then processed directly on site to preserve the freshness and expertise of the producers.
The bags are then carried down the mountain by mule for several hours to the nearest loading point, before continuing their journey via Origin2u to Alma Cafe!
