A family story

At Alma café, everything begins with a family. Margaux's family in Venezuela, where the passion for specialty coffee was built in close proximity to the plantations, the producers, and the land.

Over the years, this story has become that of a large family: that of the partner farms we work with. Behind every harvest, there are women, men, parents, children, and generations who share the same commitment: to grow authentic coffee, with respect for their terroir and a standard of quality that leaves nothing to chance.

It is this relationship of trust, woven through our encounters, that gives each Alma coffee its identity and character.

Behind Alma are relationships of trust with our partner farms, a discerning selection of harvests, and artisanal roasting carried out in our workshop in Nivelles.Alma means soul in Spanish. A name that reflects our way of working: respecting every link in the chain, from the families who grow the coffee to the moment the bean reveals its full potential in our roaster. Our role is not to transform the coffee, but to reveal its full identity, to offer you a cup that is sincere, authentic, and true to its origin.
